About us,

Marianne Gibson's new art gallery and studio opened in Allenford this past October.
Marianne earned her Honours B.A. in Fine Art from University of Guelph in 1994 and has worked in various media since. As of 2009 her focus has been on the beeswax,  tree resin and oil paint of the encaustic medium. Her work displays a spontaneity and energy, be it the sensual curves of a life drawing or textural brushstrokes of encaustic.
As an instructor, Marianne is thorough, approachable and inspiring. Her outgoing nature is complimented by the pleasure she gets from sharing her knowledge about her passions.
